Parameters, options and clauses

Option / clause	Description
`-q, --query <package>`	Query installed package information.
`-qa / -qi / -ql`	List packages, show package details or list package files.
`-i, --install <file.rpm>`	Install a local RPM file; dependency resolution may be needed.
`-U, --upgrade <file.rpm>`	Install or upgrade from an RPM file.
`-e, --erase <package>`	Remove an installed package.

Review a command and its target before running it. Commands that alter files, services, accounts, disks, permissions or databases may be difficult to reverse. Test in a safe environment and keep backups.
