Terms of use
Terms for using Forever & Always, an independent bilingual command-learning and reference hobby project.
Purpose and scope
Forever & Always is an independent personal hobby project. Its Cross-Platform Command Atlas provides free Linux, Windows CMD, PowerShell, third-party tool and SQL learning references. The pages are general educational material, not a managed service, consultancy, security assessment or promise that a command will work on a particular system.
By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to check whether an example fits your operating system, distribution, software version, permissions and configuration. These terms describe the current free reference site; if its features or commercial status change, the terms may be revised and the revision date will be shown here.
Command safety and your responsibility
Commands can create, overwrite or delete files; change permissions, accounts, services, networking or disks; install software; or alter database contents. Read every option and target before execution. Use backups, least-privilege accounts and a test environment where appropriate. Be especially careful with recursive, force, quiet, format, reset, drop, delete and production commands.
Examples are illustrative and may omit environment-specific checks. You decide whether to run them and are responsible for actions on systems and data under your control. Do not use the site as a substitute for vendor documentation, a qualified professional or your organisation’s change-control process.
Accuracy, sources and third-party rights
Syntax and behaviour can differ by release, edition, shell, installed modules, database dialect and configuration. We aim to identify scope and link to upstream manuals, but material may be incomplete, outdated or contain mistakes. Check the linked source and the help installed on your system before relying on an entry.
Third-party names, marks, documentation and linked resources remain with their respective owners. A link or mention is for reference and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation. Follow the relevant source licence and terms when reusing third-party material.
Availability, changes and legal rights
This site is maintained in personal time and may be changed, corrected, suspended or withdrawn. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every page will remain available. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or restricted, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
